В статье актуализируется проблематика формирования физической культуры личности в соответствии с концепцией Л. Н. Толстого. Концепция Л. Н. Толстого апеллирует к учету принципа природосообразности, индивидуальных возможностей, природных задатков и способностей человека, основанных на императивах свободного воспитания.Объектом исследования является теория свободного воспитания личности Л. Н. Толстого.Предметом исследования является совокупность императивов природосообразности и свободного воспитания в концепции физического развития личности. Автор подробно рассматривает такие аспекты темы как личный опыт писателя, положенный в основу концепции формирования физической культуры личности, его разносторонность, поступательность и систематичность. Особое внимание уделяется теории и практике разработки проблемы и реализации оснований формирования физической культуры личности в педагогическом опыте Л. Н. Толстого.Цель исследования заключается в выявлении основных положений концепции Л. Н. Толстого в сфере физического развития личности. Для достижения поставленной цели были сформулированы следующие задачи: 1) выявить основные положения концепции физического развития личности; 2) проанализировать основные аспекты реализации концепции физического развития в жизни самого Л. Н. Толстого. В статье использовались методы теоретического анализа, историко-описательный метод.Результатами проведенного исследования являются выявленные положения концепции, ее смыслообразующие простота и сложность, а также основные аспекты реализации концепции формирования физической культуры личности в педагогической деятельности Толстого.Область применения результатов: образовательный процесс в высшем учебном заведении, педагогический процесс физического воспитания.Новизна исследования заключается в обосновании раскрытия первообраза природной гармонии как основополагающей в понимании Л. Н. Толстого и заложенной изначально в каждом человеке, развитие которого считал одной из главных задач жизнедеятельности, формирования общей (в том числе физической) культуры личности. Совокупность этих признаков первообраза рассматривается в качестве основных императивов физического развития и физического воспитания свободной гармоничной личности.Особым вкладом автора в исследование темы является анализ опыта физической двигательной активности в жизнедеятельности Л. Н. Толстого, сопряженного с важными вехами развития различных видов спорта в России.Методологической основой исследования являются социально-философские и педагогические положения об объективных тенденциях развития физической культуры в масштабах общества в целом и личности, в частности, о соотношении природного содержания и формы реализации императивов природосообразности и личностной свободы, логического и исторического в теоретико-методологическом/педагогическом познании формирования физической культуры личности как части ее общей культуры.

Tolstoy appeals to considering the principle of conformity to nature, individual capabilities, natural inclinations and human abilities, based on the imperatives of free education. The object of the study is the theory of free education of the personalitу of L. N. Тоlstоу. Тhе subjеct оf thе rеsеаrсh is the tоtalitуоf thе imperatives of conformity to nature and free education in the concept оf thерhуsiсаl development of the individuаl. Тhеаuthоr eхaminеs in detail such aspects of the tорiсаs the personal opty of the writer, which is the basis for the concept of the formation of the physical culture of the individual, its versatility, progressiveness and systematicity. Particular attention is paid to the theory and practice of developing the problem and implementing the foundations for the formation of physical culture of the individual in the pedagogical experience оf L. N. Тоlstоу. Тhe рurроsеоf thе studу is tо idеntifу thе mаin рrоvisiоns оf thесоncерt of L. N. Tolstoy in the field of physical development of the individual. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were formulated: 1) to identify the main provisions of the concept of the physical development of the individual; 2) to analyze the main aspects of the implementation of the concept of physical development in the life of L. N. Tolstoy himself. The article used methods of theoretical analysis, historical and descriptive method. The scope of the results: the educational process in a higher educational institution, the pedagogical process of physical education. Results: the main conclusions of the study are the identified provisions of the concept, its semantic simplicity and complexity, as well as the main aspects of the implementation of the concept of personality physical culture formation in Tolstoy's pedagogical activity. The novelty of the study lies in the substantiation of the disclosure of the prototype of natural harmony as fundamental in the understanding of L. N. Tolstoy and originally laid down in every person, the development of which he considered one of the main tasks of life, the formation of a general (including physical) culture of the individual. The totality of these signs of the prototype is considered as the main imperatives of physical development and physical education of a free harmonious personality. A special contribution of the author to the study of the topic is the analysis of the experience of physical motor activity in the life of L. N. Tolstoy, associated with important milestones in the development of various sports in Russia. The methodological basis of the study is the socio-philosophical and pedagogical provisions about the objective trends in the development of physical culture on the scale of society as a whole and the individual, in particular, about the ratio of natural content and form of implementation of the imperatives of natural conformity and personal freedom, logical and historical in theoretical and methodological/pedagogical knowledge formation of a person's physical culture as a part of its general culture.
