В статье описывается управленческая структура организации Свидетелей Иеговы, характеризуются иерархические позиции руководителей, обозначается перечень функций, осуществляемых ими в рамках собраний – основных религиозных ячеек организации. Кроме этого анализируются правовые основания и аргументы, положенные в основу решения Верховного Суда Российской Федерации, признавшего религиозную организацию «Управленческий центр Свидетелей Иеговы в России» и все входящие в ее состав объединения экстремистскими и запретившего их деятельность на территории России. В опоре на уставные документы головной организации – «Управленческого центра» обозначается статус религиозных групп, не зарегистрированных в качестве местных религиозных организаций, но, тем не менее, являющихся частью организации Свидетелей Иеговы в России. Впервые в научный оборот вводятся внутриконфессио- нальные издания, ранее доступные только для крещеных адептов и руководителей религиозных объединений Свидетелей Иеговы – «Организованы, чтобы исполнять волю Иеговы» и «Пасите Божье стадо» (I Петра 5:2)».
The article describes the management structure of the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses, describes the hierarchical positions of the leaders, and indicates the list of functions performed by them within the framework of meetings – the main religious cells of the organization. In addition, the author analyzes the legal grounds and arguments underlying the decision of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation that recognized the religious organization "Management center of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia" and all its constituent associations as extremist and banned their activities in Russia. Based on the statutory documents of the central organization, the "Management center", the status of religious groups that are not registered as local religious organizations, but are nevertheless part of the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia, is indicated. For the first time, intra-confessional publications that were previously available only to baptized adepts and leaders of religious associations of Jehovah's Witnesses are being introduced into scientific circulation – "Organized to fulfill the will of Jehovah" and "Feed the flock of God" (I Peter 5:2)".
