Abstract

The article attempts to create a historical and political portrait of the frst Kyrgyz offcer in the Russian army of Royal Russia S. Zh. Kuchukov. He is a hero of the First World War and the Civil War in Soviet Russia, the frst career offcer from among the Kyrgyz in the Russian army in both the pre-Soviet and Soviet periods.
