HISTORY
The article attempts to analyze the image of the Cossacks, formed by the Kuzbass press during the period of its revival in the Kemerovo region. This goal determined the use of content analysis techniques for regional periodicals. The materials reviewed allow us to speak about the initially established mutual interest of representatives of the press and the Cossacks. Thus, regional periodicals actually became a platform for the Cossack leadership in covering current problems and tasks of revival (in addition to the actual journalistic publications). The subject of our research is the specificity of the image of the Cossacks, constructed by periodicals at the stage of its structural formation in the region. We tested the method of content analysis and made a complete selection of narrative sources relating to the specified period. Analysis of newspaper publications allowed us to conclude that the stated image was formed in the context of the participation of the regional press in the processes of social construction. One of the central places in the structure of this image is occupied by the cliche of the Cossacks as «defenders». A sufficient number of plots orient the reader towards the cultivation of «traditions» among the Cossacks, focused on the restoration of «historical» elements of culture, life and the transmission of traditional values. At the same time, the basis of the image under consideration was the coverage of the activities of registered Cossack societies, which included the vast majority of representatives of the movement in Kuzbass. Objectively, here we can trace a course towards the nationalization of the Cossacks in the Kemerovo region.
PHILOSOPHY
The problem of iatrogenism is relevant in the context of the tasks aimed at improving the quality and safety of public healthcare. The subject of the paper is the negative factors affecting the health and well-being of patients caused by errors in medical communication and deviations from ethical rules and norms. Its methodological basis is an ethical and communicative approach to the study of incorrect actions of medical personnel and improper behavior of patients. The results of the research consist in the analysis of various scientific interpretations of iatrogeny in Russian and foreign literature as well as the elaboration of the author's concept of iatrogenic harm and ways of its minimization. Different classifications of iatrogenies are presented, the main causes of their occurrence are analyzed and some effective models and techniques of ethically sound communication between medical professionals and patients are considered. The article emphasizes the paramount significance of observing the principles of benevolence, exclusion of harm, respect for an individual and his rights, informed consent, confidentiality, etc. Medical workers’ communicative culture and mastery of words are also of great importance. The conclusion asserts that efficiency and safety are the major healthcare requirements. One of the necessary conditions is humanization of relationships in this area. Some measures are proposed to eliminate the shortcomings and reduce the unjustified losses of human health.
PHILOLOGY, LINGUISTICS
The artistic world of works by recognized authors is always valuable both as an individual concept of worldview with a special stylistic embodiment, and as a reflection of national linguistic experience. The article analyzes the individual author's picture of the world, presented by some of the key concepts of the artistic heritage of I.A. Bunin. The concepts of "life" and "death" in the article are considered as a binomial, representing inextricably linked opposite (contrary) concepts in the individual author's understanding.
The main attention was paid to the nature of verbalization of recurring motifs of the binomial, which allowed us to draw a conclusion about its basic semantic model, which can be expressed by the construction "The more ..., the ...".
